WSET Level 2 Course June 08-10, 2025

WSET Level 2 Award in Wines builds on the foundations of Level One. Students take a deeper dive into the world’s key grape varieties, the regions where they are grown, and the diverse styles of wine they produce. Through a blend of tasting and theory, you'll explore the factors that influence wine style and quality—and gain the tools to describe wines with clarity and confidence. While completing Level 1 or having prior wine experience is helpful, there are no formal prerequisites for Level 2. The upcoming June course will be held from 9am to 4pm (with a one hour break for lunch) June 8-10, at 212 E. Alder Street.

The Walla Walla Valley Wine Academy operates as a satellite location of The Center for Wine Education at Linfield University. When you register for the WSET Level 2 course, you will be directed to Linfield University’s website to complete your enrollment and payment. Once registered, Linfield will provide all necessary textbooks and course materials, along with instructions for creating an account with WSET.

All in-person classes are held at the Walla Walla Valley Wine Academy, located at 212 E Alder Street in Walla Walla. Additional course details including registration confirmation, course information and other student administration details will be provided to students by Linfield University.
